I had his class long time ago , he can not teach the material , he is in to grades only . No creativity he is after labeling students ., he never done any projects himself no industry experience . Just the old time gate keeper . It is sad to see he is still teaching .

Professor stated that my 'learning accomdation testing was rigged' Caught heck from DSS for that, Did not teach transistor theory, only FET, and MOS theory, tests were not review, nor answers posted, would not help me in his office, stated that I had no business in this program, I would never get hired, should quit program before I got flunked out.

When I took his class a couple of years ago, I remembered his lectures to be extremely clear. I still keep my notes from his class, they are extremely valuable reference material now! His explanations are almost always clear; if they aren't, ask (nicely!) for more help, and he will knock himself out trying to help you.

Very hard teacher who lacks clarity. His tests are multiple choice and very confusing. I have a hard time understanding him. Half the class is failing miserably. I am studying 20 hours a week in his class and have only a B-.

His exams are multiple choice which make it so difficult to get a right answer. He puts seven choices for each question and out of which one is an "OTHER". His lectures are boring and has a dual personality: gets mad at small things. HE SUCKS

His multiple choice tests don't really test anything. They are hard, but some people guess every question and get A's and others make sign errors or calculation errors (no calculators at all) and they get F's.

Davis is one of the finest instructors in the program at San Jose State. He's clear, fair, and rather entertaining (relatively speaking). His book is wonderful (though I would have preferred it if he stuck with more traditional approaches).
