I had him for 2 semesters of general chem and 1 orgo class. His tests are way harder than the hw, so read the text & ask questions. He has a great sense of humor and expects students to actually study, unlike these whiners who have posted reviews. Take him if you want to be in the adult world.

Haber is the worst professor I have ever had. He is so incredibly rude when you ask questions and expects you to go find the answers on your own. I've never met a professor so unwilling to help. His tests are way harder than hw. He doesnt do any problems in class and just puts tons of sheets up on the overhead. who even uses those anymore?!

Makes you feel stupid when you ask a question. Has really good notes however usually goes off on tangents about something way off topic. I used to love Chem.... that is thrown out the window.

Professor expects students to read the text book and study hard, I did this and his lectures where easy to follow. Gives plenty of chances for extra credit and you can always ask him questions yet he won't give you the answer, he makes you work for it. He wants you to think and actually learn instead of regurgitate. Great Professor and guy IMO.

This professor is worthless. He makes his students feel as if they are an annoyance to him whenever anyone asks him a question. He talks down to his students and answers questions as if the answer were obvious and the question shouldn't have been asked.

Not a bad person, but not a teacher. Never engages the class in a topic that is learned by doing. Cannot simplify or restate in a manner to facilitate learning. Lecture methods are awkward and archaic. Spouts off on topics outside of his forte w/ ignorant, small minded views. Can be degrading to students.

a very funny guy with an excellent dry sence of humor. sort of a lazy teacher but very fun to talk too. unfortunatly u are for the most part on your own learning the material, but it is managable, dont be ashamed to have to take the class twice!

He is not a good teacher. He makes the homeworks extra hard, and his test aren't much easier. When you go to him for help he sounds arrogant and makes you feel very small. Unfortunately he is the only chemistry professor in the school, that is sane atleast.
