Very knowledgeable - it is not the most interesting subject, so you can't really blame him for not making it interesting. Despite the previous posts, memorizing the slides is in fact very important for 'serious' architecture students. He is very helpful if you can find him during office hours (he's not always there). Also, the facade is a pain...
