Arta is a great professor, and very dedicated. She has scheduled additional time not during regular class periods, which she uses to provide her students with extra help if needed. The examples that she posts on her web site are a great addition to the book material. She will stop the lecture, to make sure that everyone understands properly.

I was lucky to have her;Transferred from Nasim's class which was a disaster class. Arta does not push labs or milestones to finish in the lab class. Instead, She gave more lecture to learn and practice more coding with her. if you do some homeworks and will give you extra bonus marks. Never ignored any questions! easy to pass A+

This was my very first programming class! Arta will pick on people to answer questions (so always be prepared) she's always teaching(even during labs when we're supposed to be doing our work) However, she is very organized with her notes and tries to always help. She always has practice questions for you to work on but she can be a tough marker.

If you have her as your professor then you are the most lucky person ,she is my most favorite professor and her explanation and notes are very useful. I had no knowledge of Programming but now C language seems very easy just because of her. Very friendly and reply emails within 24 hrs. Thank you Arta for everything.

She is a good professor ,so organized and knows her study material and explains so well. The only thing I don't like is ; she is a hard marker comparing other professors. In future If she is teaching the course that I want to take then I won't chose her as my prof but definitely go to her website for notes. Her website is open for all.

Brilliant Teacher !! she knows everything and explains in a very easy and understandable language. She is kind and one of the best teacher in her field. I highly recommend her if u wanna gain something to secure ur future. I got 90%+ A+ grade and when i started i was having no knowledge or little knowledge of C.

She does her best in explaining the concepts although sometimes she is way faster and you have to stop her for questioning. She gives many bonus grade opportunities. Take her class if you have some understanding of C programming, you will be good to go.

She is a great teacher, explains very well. her notes are very helpful. I wish she taught more course at a time but unfortunately she teaches only one course per semester. She is quite jolly and her regular quizzes helps to boost the marks.

I just had to come back and leave a comment. It's been a year that I took a C course with her and I just want to thank her for being an awesome teacher. She is very good at explaining the subject and makes sure everybody understands it. I am lucky I took her classes it made my life easier on other programming courses.

Was a TA for her. She's really nice and extremely helpful. We chatted a lot during classes and would sometimes forget about the students. And she's hot for her age.
