This teacher is one of the best I've ever had. There is a reason why he won teaching awards. He is very enthusiastic about what he is teaching and cares about how well the students are doing. He also like to joke around a bit which is a nice change of pace once in a while. Take this guy if you can, you won't regret it!

This professor is definitely knows what he's teaching. Honest and polite, he has a good sense of humor as well. He also very fair in the way he assigns grades, despite that the exams are sometimes harder than average. The bottom line: I wish there would be more like this guy.

I have had Al-Khalili twice. Once for COEN312 and once for COEN490. he was GREAT for 312, but for 490, hes a complete nightmare. STAY AWAY. he doesnt help, and assumes you will complete project from A-Z without any help from him. If you are 100% independent, hes very good. But otherwise, very TOUGH.
