He is excellent. We did not see eye to eye on a good amount of the content covered in his course but he is a consummate professional, passionate, and knowledgeable. He is what a professor should be. Differing opinions should lead to polite, yet spirited debate, and should not adversely effect a grade.

Smart dude, easy-going, but assignments (4 book reviews) were tedious. But coursework wasn't heavy, so no complaints. Overall, B+.

I had to drink a venti cup of coffee to keep awake from this class. He teaches with an Instructor name Proctor the duo makes the class a little more confusing. I believe is set up to make you feel uncomfortable. The class is based on race and Ethnicity. 1 quiz every week and two 2-3 page essays. I got a B but I had to do an extra credit assignment.

He is a bit cuckoo but he's passionate about his class. His papers are real easy because most of the time he gives you the meat of the essay in his lectures. And he's even experienced life in Palestine, so nothing's better than a professor who's actually had first hand experience on what he's teaching

this professor was a cool guy, but he gaves an enormous amount of work. if you have a job or a social life outside of school i suggest you do not take his class because the readings are neverending and his information is irrelevant to the assignments and he does not even stay on topic in class. i do not recommend him

He's a great guy. I know i messed up in his class time after time and he continued to give me chances. All you have to do is read the books he tells you to read and write your Essay. Oh, another big thing... have the NOTES for the books! Its part of your grade. He's pretty easy and shows movies... about 3 of them!

If you can't be bothered to closely read the texts, don't attend his classes. If you read the books, an A is extremely easy to achieve. A great professor - always has time for students.

He is one of the greatest professor i've had, i know not everyone will agree with me. The only thing you have to do is to ask him for something you don't understand and believe me he is willing to help you all the way through. I was half way of dropping his class but at he end it was worth keeping it. I pulled an A and i know you can too. :-)

he is a really cool, great guy...BUT, this class sucks. there is so much work is it almost impossible to do it all. i am a dean's list student who gets mostly straight A's and i am failing this class! he offers no help with the assignments and students are expected to figure everything out on their own, with no explanation on what to do.
