She is awesome!! absolutly amazing. I will admit a little cooky, but all art teachers are. SHe's so nice and understanding and always gives positive and constuctive critisism of her students work. She will comment harshly only if she thinks you have talent. Definately keeping her as a refrence take her classes. There is hardly any intense work

Prof. Friedman is very much your typical art teacher. Talks about her liberal education, is spacey, jumps from topic to topic. She uses a lot of really fluffy words to avoid telling you your work sucks. Attendance is her biggest thing.

She is one of the nicest teachers not just in my college experience but in my whole education experience. She truly is a gift to Pace students. So kind and cares for each of her students, never picks favorites. If I could have her for every class, so would! I have NEVER heard a bad word mentioned about her. We love you Barbara!

She is a great teacher! You do have to stay on top of your work, but with every painting she finds something unique (even if it looks like a 5 year old painting) she loves what she does and she encourages everyone. kind of spacy in a art-teacher way.... HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

idk about this one, i honestly believe shes off on a cloud the whole class!!! but she is very nice, too nice sometimes. she doesnt realize that not all ppl paint, some just are looking for an easy A, but she doesnt give easy A's, and shes famous for misleading students into thinking their going to get a great grade, but give them a lower one.
