Comment:

I dont understand all these negative comments. The instructor was more than fair. Yes, there was a lot of work but grant writing is very difficult. I felt Ms. Howell was more than fair and was there to answer questions in a timely manner. She was EXTREMELY organized but be prepared to work. You have a finished grant in the end. I highly recommend.

The course was well organized, and each module had a purpose to help compile the grant proposal at the end of the course. The professor was professional and graded assignments in a timely manner and provided feedback to each assignment to make the proposal as strong as it could be. Stay on top of each assignment and you'll earn an A.

Keep up with assignments and submit early. Not very clear on assignments and her notes sometimes conflict with book readings. Getting clarification and feedback to questions is VERY frustrating. You shouldn't have to spend 50% of your time figuring out assignments (seriously). Not very clear on final proposal expectations. Got good grade but..

Comment:

Loved the Grant Management course. Very practical, good feedback from both prof and peers. Not hard to get an A -- but you REALLY need to do the work and have a good organization with which to partner. Very useful class. I don't understand the poor ratings from other students.

I took the course online. The instructor took 5 or 6 days to reply to email questions. You basically have to teach yourelf throught the course. She post assignments, but doesn't really teach anything. I got a good grade, but I did not feel challenged.

This class was purely ridiculous. The amount of work is immense! I felt she did nothing to teach us. She doesn't appear to be very intelligent and she surely had no clue how to utilize technology. It literally almost made me go insane. I dreaded it.
