Barb's SO misunderstood. Ppl who say she's "moody" dont understand her humor. Laugh at her jokes & she will like you. Gives notes that are super helpful, but leaves blanks so that u must follow along to get the answers. Be sure to do homework in PEN. She's SO helpful over email. Ive never met someone who cares about her students like Barb does.

Barb is a really good, misunderstood teacher with a short temper. Shes moody and fussy. But really nice once you get to know her especially out of class. If you read all her notes and do all the homework/ extra practices, you should do fine.

She is a horrible teacher. Very moody and fussy. Not only you have to understand all the material she teaches, you also have to memorize it all. Formulas and formats are at the very core of this course and she expects you to remember all of them by heart. She made the cost accounting a nightmare for me. Can't wait to be done with this one.

Barb is such an amazing teacher. I definitely recommend her. She seems a little strict but she encourages her students to do really well in the course. She is always available for extra help. Her exams are out of the material she teaches in the class. She doesn't use powerpoints. She provides her own handouts which explains the material so well.

Barbara is a amazing teacher. If you really want to learn sth about account, you should surely get her courses; however, if you just want pass her courses without doing anything, please don't take her courses. You will be failed anyways. She has lots of patience for the students. I got A plus acct 1110 by her. She is the best accounting instructor!

Ok instructor, but not for everyone. I won't take her again bc of her attitude. Negative attitude, although constantly reminding herself to have a positive one. Gets frustrated easily if little participation or give wrong answers. Once frustrated, will not let things go. Gives good notes, but must attend to complete. Says when things are important

I wouldn't say that I don't recommend her as an instructor, but she definitely is for a select type of student - the kind that dedicates their entire life to accounting. She shows enthusiasm for the course but can go off topic. Her teaching style is clear enough but some questions on her exams can really get you. Work your buns off, and good luck.

Oh Barb...She is one of the most brilliant yet peculiar human beings I have ever met in my entire life. This course is hard and even if you are a hardworking/diligent student you can still do poorly in her course. Her exams and finals are intense. Avoid. She is one of the worst teacher in Kwantlen. Exams are not fair. Exams Qs are beyond her class material. Low class avg on both MTs. Her notes are useful but dont rely on it as it help you anywhere near 50%. If you want to pass, dont take her.
