Prof. Nimershiem is an exceptionally passionate professor. She is always available for extra-help and always encouraging. Her tests are somewhat difficult, but Calc 3 is not an easy subject. She teaches the course adeptly nevertheless, and I had a great time in the course. Prof. Nimershiem is truly zealous about the topics she teaches.

Professor Nimershiem is an excellent Professor that really cares about helping students understand the course material and provides students with many opportunities to succeed. She is open to answering questions in class and during office hours. Quizzes and tests can be challenging but are very fair. Your grade will accurately reflect your effort.

She is so nice and really wants you to do well!! if u go to her after every quiz(which are hard) and talk she will help you out and will see the effort you put in and it will help your grade. Yes, her daily quizzes aren't the greatest but they keep you up to speed and help your grade. So dont miss class and study. Not an easy class though

absolutely loved her!!! i had her for the calc 2 first-year seminar. some of the writing prompts and group projects were annoying, but she was a great teacher! she just wanted all of us to do our best and her tests were very fair. make sure to do the exercises in the book because they will help. wish i could have her again for another class!

This class is a very tough class conceptually. Thinking about 3D mathematics can be very grueling and Prof. Nimershiem teaches it well. She is a very nice lady and a good teacher. However, you must continously ask questions and email her questions or you will do poorly. Daily Quizzes are easy. If you attend the previous class you'll get A's.

Very good teacher, works right along with the textbook but doesn't use it in class. Integrates technology very well into lessons. She makes you work hard but teaches well!

The professor is a nice person overall. If you have hearing issues, make sure to sit in the front of the class. Her voice is really small and has a hard time talking loudly. This professor does not go over homework problems very well. He is available at the most inconveinient time and hard to make an appointment with. This is the worst!

The worst teacher I have ever had in my entire math. In a semester she has completely reversed my interest in mathematics. She is the most boring teacher at f&m and her passive aggressive ways in dealing with conflicts made me want to shoot myself. Her class should be avoided at all costs.

If you really wanted to go to a large University and be treated like a number then this is the class for you. I purposefully chose F&M to avoid this...guess my plan backfired. Doesn't teach either and is so mono-toned she's practically lethargic. I disliked her both as a professor and as a person. Do yourself a favor and take a different prof.

To say that this professor is the worst I've had at F&M is an understatement. If you find sitting through three months of hell on Earth, enjoy. I love math, but "learning" from nimershiem was utterly painful. People say she's nice too, and I thought so as well. She's just fake. spare yourself, there are far more productive ways to spend time.

It seems enough people commented on her group learning. She has since changed her teaching methods, but unfortunately they don't involve more teaching. She is sweet and the class isn't hard, but the only reason to go is that she gives daily quizes, otherwise you are probably better off just reading the book yourself. She is not very clear.

Professor at first seems really nice- during the course though, you realize that's she's FAKE. Be careful, if you piss her off, she'll hold it against you and find any way to fail you. Her group projects suck- she doesn't bother to teach a class- instead, she just sits there while "students learn from each other". Got A, and still can't stand her.

Usually I take a math class and immediately forget half of the things I learned in it, but not with this professor! Her group activities and daily quizzes FORCED us to pay attention and absorb the material. Her clear lectures reinforced all of these. I am so glad I had her for Calc 3!!

I took Mat111 with her- it was a very easy class. She is an awful teacher because she doesn't teach! Finally, she put two chapters on the final exam that she did not go over in class, however she spent an hour teaching it during the exam. By teaching, I mean we taught ourselves in class.

She is a nice prof. but a little strange. The class is pretty easy, but the "tasks" part was pretty pointless and worth forgeting after the course. She is always willing to help if you have any questions though. She likes it if you take your papers to the writing center too.
