If you are in math 105 i can guarentee you do not know more than Professor Thorpe. She is extremely intelligent and definitely knows how to teach, she may have had trouble dumbing it down for you. I agree she can be a bit boring because she goes so slow to make sure everyone understands. Awesome teacher, I miss her now she's retired!

Thorpe was definitly one of the most boring teachers. She doesnt even relize that she is wrong half the time she teaches. Even though she was absent 3 times before the final I still managed an A. She had to curve every test in order for most people to pass. Easy class

Shes alright. She is really monotone. Her tests werent that hard. But the class I took (MAT 105) is designed for non math majors. She is willing to help you out though, and if you ask for help on the project she nearly does them for you.
