Very confusing. the tests are NOTHING like the homework or lectures. no partial credit, and homework isnt graded. your entire grade is based on the quizzes and exams. Not completely horrible.. but close to it. I would definately recommend taking someone else!

Very hard class. Hated going to it. Hard test, lucky if you make over a 50. Done well, but had to work more than needed. Didn't really seem interested in helping outside of class. Thinks if one student gets it, everyone understands.

Weinstock's lectures are hard to decipher sometimes, but the class is not impossible. He knows so much about math, but he does not seem to think about how his students do not know as much as he does. It is possible to get an A though.

Barnet Weinstock is the coolest dude ever. He wears a dress shirt with a sweater every day, but what would you expect with a PhD from MIT. He's a good teacher, but the class is difficult. Gives homework 1/week and 3 tests that cover a lot of material.

Very knowledgable teacher-knows his stuff! Can be a little impatient at times (only when people ask stupid questions). Very easy for me, I got an easy A and barely ever went to class.
