"The Barron" could possibly be the best instructor i have ever had, hes very helpful and lets u out early everyday, he jokes around all class and doesnt care if u show up or not. hes awesome, id recommend him for anyone. 20 out of 25 kids got an A in the class and the other 5 got B's

Listen, people- ART121 is about drawing REALITY; not creative expression. When he gives suggestions for your print design (or anything besides 121 assignments), he ALWAYS makes it clear that they are only suggestions and that you should do it the way YOU like it. He is very honest, and actually very kind if you give him a fair chance!

love it, he doesn't take much****. what do you want to pay to take an easy class and not learn, do your self a favor and drop out of college now. grow up a little bit, and come back when you want to prepare for some type of career. get a job and see how nice your supervisor is. if your not an art major why would you take art classes, you don't see me driving your gay policecar do you?

Great instructor. Expects you to push yourself. Do things you never did before. If not doing as well as he thinks, he will tell you. Doesn't stand for immaturity, and expects assignments done on time. You will learn a lot from Hirsch. I enjoyed his class, and learned how to draw more than just stick figures.

For intro to drawing, hes really just making sure that you know how to draw, and if you dont have the ability, he lets you know early that u need to pick a new field. also, if u just do what he says and keep a good attitude, its an easy A.
