I took probably half a dozen courses from Barry. He's simply an amazing professor who oozes equally with political knowledge and kindness. I learned more about world politics from Barry than anyone else in my life. He was willing to help with anything; in fact, he often gave out his home phone number to discuss with students.

He is one of the smartest professors at UPEI. I am glad he won his case, and is now back a full-time professor. His knowledge on International Relations is truly outstanding. He has travelled the world, and is well versed in his subject, especially that of the Middle East. I highly recommend him to all students.

Dr. Bartmann is probably the smartest man that I know. he is incredibly kind and he has a real interest in his students. He is always willing to chat after class and his knowledge about all things political is amazing. The day he stops teaching is the day I will leave UPEI!
