I LOVED this class. This is my first year and Dr. Whitney offers tremendous insight into religion and culture. I want to take all of his classes. It has not been 'easy' but it has certainly been important to me. And he is amazingly informed and unique.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS UNLESS YOU ARE CHRISTIAN!! He does not listen to other people's points of views if they differ from what he believes. One of the worst profs ever!! Class is not a place to preach your own religion. You DO NOT get the big picture from this guy you only get his personal biases. I learned nothing taking this class.

he cannot finish a god damn sentence, he starts on 1 idea switches ideas and Never Ever gets to the point. His teaching ability is non existent but he is the only religion nut in the school so a necessity. the bottom line dont take this class, and if you do steal his notes because you wont get the material form his broken fragment sentences.net him

Whitney was a boring sack of... The guy talked about what the word atheism meant every single lecture. I didn't even take notes most of the time, and when I did, I'd found that I'd written the word atheism about 200 times, and still got nowhere.
