I was really excited for this class but after my attempts at trying to communicate with the professor I decided I'm not going to return. I was shocked. She seemed so nice in class but her emails are extremely unprofessional and it's as if she didn't even read what I wrote to her. I got the vibe that she didn't want to deal with me at all. :/

Becky Packard loves to teach and it shows. She made such a effort to get to know every student and was fantastic with deadlines and reviewing expectations. Although I had her in the fall of 2009, I still go to her with questions which she graciously and happily answers. One of the best professors I've encountered at Mount Holyoke!

She is absolutely amazing! It is incredible how she can actually trasfer her knowledge to students...everyone can read and go along with a professor's concept, but it is quite a different experience when one can actually understand the professor's concept and know how to apply it afterwards, and Professor Packard definitely has the talent that allows that to manifest in such a wonderful way. YOU ROCK!

I think she is the best educator that the psych department has. She's breaks concepts down to make them easy, motivates you enjoy what you are doing, and provides AWESOME practice exams...don't take stats without her. Becky can be moody and snippy on a rare occasion.
