Do you like passing classes? If so then SIMPLY avoid this professor at all costs 1) does not explain material in planned manner 2) doesnt answer students questions effectively 3) isnt open to students feedback 3) tough grader 4) midterms & finals are hell 5) doesnt give reviews or practice problems before exams and in summary hes not professional!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!! Stay away. Not sure why University hires him after seeing so many bad reviews. Worst professor I have ever had to deal with. Does not respond to emails. Does not do practice problems in class, when exam have a lot of problem on it. Reads of slides.

You're in for a real treat with Chaouch. Take him for QDM1/2 and you're gonna be fine if you have half a brain. Take him for OM1/2 or Statistical Quality Design? Good luck. Guy doesn't answer students questions, he dances around them until you give up asking. If you don't get something in class hope one of your friends does. Class is always curved.

Didn't really learn much in his class, a very bad explainer, you need to teach yourself to pass. practice questions from the textbook and the worksheets given. He doesn't believe in part mark, pop quizzes are only 2% but feels like 25% because of how long they are, only gives us like 10 mins for them where we actually need like 35.

HORRIBLE..... exam review was his listing the title of every lecture we every had. Thanks. He doesn't give reviews, and his 4% assignments are insanely hard and require at least a week of struggling to finish.

Worst professor I've had throughout my four years of university. Trying to go to his classes in order to understand OM better is impossible and a waste of time. He lacks the assertiveness to be a good professor and is a very tough grader. Avoid him if you can.

Not sure who would ever consider him anything better than an awful professor. Avoid at all costs. His lectures are useless as he literally talks to himself all class and when asked a question he is no help. He also doesn't show midterms so you'll never know where you went wrong.

He is not helpful at all! You can't understand a word he says because he speaks so quietly and with an accent! Textbook is useless it doesnt help at all and overall this class is terrible! Just shoot for a D and you'll be fine!

Go to class and sit in the front. He gives LOTS of practice questions before the midterms and exams. They were either on the test or very similar. Assignments are hard but not worth too much. He isn't as bad as everyone says.

Utterly useless. His lectures consist of him essentially whispering to himself. Assignments are super long and worth virtually nothing. His midterms are easy. Just read the book and the class isn't hard, but he is simply intolerable and incompetent. Also curved the final.

Well if you didn't make it to class in time to get a front row seat, you couldn't hear a word. I swear, he would purposely stand AWAY from the podium/microphone! Eventually, I stopped attending. I basically taught myself this course. When I emailed him for help, he gave me nothing.

Must go to class and pay attention and then it is very easy to do well. Do not miss or it could be hell for you. He is very helpful but his TA not so much.

This class is murder if you don't attend lectures, you will be sooo lost. But if you attend, it is actually shockingly rather easy. A course I was absolutely terrified to take, I aced, thanks to a great prof. Definitely would take another course with him.
