Oh my god. Bernie is indescribable. He's a super cool guy and he loves comedy which, for me, is essential. He loves to see his student succeed which is awesome. He will use awesome a lot. Its hilarious. If you don't take him, you are cheating yourself out of a phenomenal (another Bernie word) teacher and a good time.

I took is writing intensive Classical Tradition class & was pleasantly suprised. He made Greek tragedies & Canterbuur Tales interesting & funny. Lots of writing & quizes, but I would definitely take a class with him again. He's great!

I had Bernie for a writing intensive course. As a Criminology major I wasn't up to speed on all of the English Terms, but the way he spoke made it easy to follow. He's funny and really down to earth.
