Prof. Charlebois is very nice and helpful. If you feel overwhelmed just go see her for office hours. Also, on the two test, you take as long as you take notes and read you should be fine. Everything on the test we have previously gone over in class.

Quite possibly the best professor I've had in my life. A constant inspiration, whose insights I've been carrying with me since I graduated from St. Mary's several years ago. A wonderful human being and instructor. You earn your A, but it's not about getting an A; what you get from Beth goes beyond charts and numbers. A wonderful professor.

Beth is a fantastic professor. She knows so much about her subject and her enthusiasm definitely comes through in her teaching. She will absolutely get you interested in the material through her own excitement. She is a tough but fair grader, and you should expect to put a lot of effort into her assignments but it's worth it!

I'm not sure if I already wrote a review of Charlebois, that's how much I love her. She was the best professor ever, and I learned so much about Shakespeare with the chance to read a lot of great plays with deep analysis. TAKE TAKE TAKE!

Many people will agree that Beth is the crowning glory of the English department. I suggest that even non-majors take a class with her. She spits genius in class discussion and is a master at engaging students in the text.

I feel like I'm probably the only person who can't stand her, but I think she can be very rude and highly opinionated. I feel like she gets annoyed when a class doesn't have the answer she's looking for. I think she reads too much into things sometimes and even though I will get a good grade I know that I will never take another class from her.

Dr. Charlebois is great; she comes to class with an open mind and passion for the material that invariably works its way into the students. She approaches the text from a feminist view, so keep that in mind (I'm a conservative male, by the way, and it never bothered me). She's very strict about attendance and timeliness. Fairly easy on papers.

I attended Ms. Charlebois' Introduction to Shakespeare course at some summers ago at Northwestern University, and to this date that class remains one of my better academic experiences, it was both a delight (her kind willingness yo help you out at every turn, giving you every break deserved or not) and a great learning experince. Higly Recommended.

She's a great teacher and knows how to stimulate funny, intelligent, engaging discussions. She's a hard grader with high expectations, but is always fair and sticks to what she outlines in the sylabus. She also has a bit of a temper and can fly off the handle occasionly, but I highly reccomend her.

Beth is very tough and expects a lot, but I learned so much in her class. We also had a field trip to the Folger's, which I thought was a great idea. You have to read and study to survive her class! See her out of class if you need help w/ papers!
