She is super nice and her lectures are interesting. she is a great teacher but her tests are really hard and that is pretty much the only way to get points in the class other than a few assignments that she grades hard as well.

Comment:

She's definitely one of the best teachers I've had. It's a shame she doesn't teach upper level courses. She doesn't do much in the way of notes, other than giving you key terms. This is one of those classes where you should read the text before the class, b/c her lectures tie it all together. Her tests are thorough, but she gives a study guide.

TESTS ARE EXTREMELY HARD! she made it sound like everything was going to be a breeze but it's not. i understood lecture and the book but i could not get above a "D" on her quizes... she makes them drawn out. I really enjoyed lectures, she makes history interesting...

Definately definately DEFINATELY take her if you can. She is an absolutely amazing professor. She knows her****..and she teaches it well. she will help you with anything u need help with! Yes, her quizzes are hard..but if you study you should be fine. Oh--and don't skip her class a lot or you will be completely lost! She covers a lot in one day!

she's really helpful. if you e-mail her she will give you any answer you need. she is willing to study with you for the tests...and you'll need it. she makes history fun cuz i hate it and i actually enjoyed her class. shes down to earth and funny but her quizzes are hard. you get two other assignments that are impossible NOT to get an A which helps

Her lectures make you think the quizzes will be simplified, but they're not, so be prepared for that. She gives homework once a week, easy stuff, takes 10 minutes or so. For mid-term and final, she gives you 4 questions and gives you a choice of 1 out of 2 on the test, so that can be tricky. I got a C, and that was my lowest grade of the semester.

She is an awesome lecture teacher. Explains very well. You have to read a lot and have homework. Her quizes are hard though, she tricks you. But her midterm and final are essay and she gives them to you ahead a time.

She definitely made History interesting. It's not a hard class, but make sure you study your notes for the quizzes. She tells you what will be on the quizzes, too. She's very laid back and willing to help her students. I'd take her again. Only two tests, which are essay, but not they aren't bad

FUNNY lady and is very intertaining. Her quizes are hard but if you do the reading you'll be fine. Test are not too bad, all essay and there are only two; midterm and finnal. I would definately take her again she makes class enjoyable.

My favorite professor by far. I hated history in high school and she has completly turned me around. I look forward to going to every one of her classes and that says a lot. She's very helpful and understanding. 2 tests: midterm and final, easy essay tests. Quizes: 5 MC, read and you'll be okay.
