Comment:

This course was a lot of hard work, but she was really encouraging. She responded to my emails quickly, and she gave good feedback on all my assignments. There is a lot of reading and writing, but if you stay on top of things, she is willing to work with you. I would definitely take another class online with her. This class was on a 7 point scale.

She is very helpful if you are trying. Availability is not an issue and she always gets back promptly. However, the class workload is ridiculous. Expect to spend as much time on this class as you do on the entire rest of your full load.

EDTC 4001 Was the worst experience I have ever had academically. She was very unclear of what she expected, but would count off for everything. She would consistently make grammatical errors, yet would take off if you made a minor mistake. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!

5010 Was a tough class. I did learn a lot. I thought the work could have been cut in half. There is so much information in each module it is sometimes unclear everything that needs to be done. Be prepared to work for the grade. She was always quick to respond to me and answer my questions. I think she is fair but expects you to work.

The online class EDTC 4001 is VERY demanding. I took it with 17 credit hours and almost failed. you have 5-7 assignments each module that have many part & she's a HARD grader. UCLEAR on requirements, VERY intimidating, and she waits till the last module (right before exam week) to assign the hardest assignments. Don't take unless you have to.

WORST PROFESSOR. Her directions are always misspelled and very very unclear. Not very understanding at all. She expects student work to be perfect, yet her work is unorganized and often misleading. She requires too much work for such a meaningless class in my opinion. Run as far away as you can!

Disorganized, unhelpful instructions, could not tell what the heck supposed to do. Blackboard links were often links that did not work. No excuses for things that happen in life; she is perfect just like ECU and never makes a mistake; you on the other hand are not perfect and therefore not so fortunate. Don't walk run, run away.

This class was very demanding and time consuming. I spent hours of my summer sitting trying to figure out how to do the projects. For everyone saying she's rude, she just doesn't put up with laziness. She can detect a slacker. She always emailed me back quickly and even called me when I was freaking out over grades. Learned alot!

The 2 comments below sums up my experience. She is blunt and rude. I was lost throughout the entire course. She does give instructions but your let loose to learn it on your own. WAY to much work for 2hr course. I spent hours each week completing assignments. No final exam and we took one quiz. Extra Credit opportunities given. Lots of group work!

Dr. Fine is a very smart and knowledgeable individual, but she is unapproachable a lot of the time, very inconsistent with grading to the point that it becomes ridiculous. She is also snobby, rude and negative during some of her class periods. Overall I couldn't be happier to be done with this course!!

I learned a lot of great methods and tools for teaching, however, I did not enjoy this class. She is not very helpful and she gives poor instructions. She kind of gave us assignments and set us loose with no instructions or examples. In short, she really did not teach me anything because I had to learn it all myself.

I wish I would have known this class was going to require so much of my time. I took it online because I work 40 hours a week. BF had way to much content to teach in only one semester. Class is really DEMANDING. It is ridiculous that she assigns so many group projects for an online class. DON'T TAKE HER!

I think that all you out there that thought she was rude or crude or didn't grade fairly just plain don't know how to read. She gave STEP by STEP directions for every assignment and her grading was very matter or fact. If you did what she asked....you got the points!! How hard is that?! and I love her sarcastic humor! Can't help but laugh!& Hot!
