I don't know where to start with how amazing Professor Bergmann is. You never feel behind in classes because she's always keeping up to date individually with her students. She really takes us seriously and wants to see our work thrive. Bergmann takes her time from her life outside of class to help us with anything we're curious about. Love her!!

Bettina is tough but fair. She pushes students to do their absolute best writing and presenting. Incredibly knowledgeable about Greek and Roman Art, and shares her passion with each student. She is willing to help students and meet outside of class. Also attends field trips and interactive classes with museum. Great professor

Impossible. Take her only if hers is the only class you will be taking, she is THAT tough. The subject material is interesting; her presentation of it is not. And her exams are crazy. It's like she wants to set us up to fail. Never again. That said, she is a nice person. Just not a good professor.

TRUST me. Unless you are a dedicated AH major, you do NOT want to take her Roman Art & Architecture class. This is just a 200-level course and it is nearly impossible. Her study guides are enormous. Expects you to memorize too many images for one mind to handle. Midterm is impossible. I am terrified of her final. Warned!

Professor Bergmann is really passionate and knowledgable about ancient greek and roman art. She encourages discussion and doesn't make students feel embarassed for asking quesitons. Shes a great teacher for intro courses and encourages hands on learning. My class met in the art museum and was really discussion based. I recommend taking her clas

Most don't realize the fantastic resource in front of them, though she does 'dumb down' the lectures and lets a lot of students get away with ridiculous comments. She is best one on one or when allowed to lecture uninterrupted.
