Great Teacher, Had a lot to offer and I did well in his class. By Far one of my favorite teachers! Got a solid B in his class. The coolest part is that he works as a head Accountant at Sierra Nevada Brewery and as a part time Accounting teacher, so all the subject matter that he expressed in class pertained to BEER! Take this class!! He's the BEST!

Great guy, if need to take fina take it with bill. is CFO of sierra nevada brewery so he know his stuff. teaches you about modern stuff that u need to know. test are almost identical to on practice quiz!!!!! Go to the class as there no HW so it will benefit u. Tell alot about the brewery and how fina. is related. TAKE WITH BILL VERY EASY

Bill knnows his stuff, if you show up to every class it will help a lot with the homework if you miss anything you will be lost for the rest of the year because the class builds on each chapter. keep up do the Home Work and you will do fine.

Moves fast which I liked. He's the CFO over at Sierra Nevada Brewery too and all of his analogies relate to beer which is great. Didn't even teach equations because he just teaches you how to do them in your calaculator.

DON'T KNOCK BALES! This guy really does know his stuff! I can't believe others didn't like him. He's a great guy...so he rambles a bit...so what. Bad reviews were probably from students that just wanted an easy A. Do the hw and go to class. Tests weren't that hard if you studied.

Hes an ok teacher, this is my second time taking the class and i think he is way easier than the lady i had before. Doing the hw when he says helps because he goes over it in class and you can actually understand it. His tests are pretty easy if you pay attention in class and study a bit.

Bill's test are pretty ridiculous, and by that I mean tough. The homework is unclear at best, and he doesn't require it, but its extra credit. He seems like an OK guy, he does tend to ramble, but I would rather hear rambling than accounting.

Any financial accounting class is basically going to blow if it's not your thing, but Bales seems oblivious of the fact that 99% of people are just trying to get a C. I'm pretty sure he Wants to impregnate Sierra Nevada. Take 1/2 hour to explain what could be said in 5 min. RAMBLER.

worst professor. Compensates for lack of ability and personality by trying to look cool by telling brewery stories. Unclear that he is disliked by his class and his coworkers at the brewery. He is a joke. Old man trying to be young and failing miserably.

Mr. Bales is a really nice guy and realates material to real life. However, Teaching stuff that isnt in the book, and only taking tests on scantrons made it very difficult. Barely looked at a spreadsheet, How do you learn and test on scantrons.
