Never gave individual feedback outside of grading the multiple choice questions on our labs. He never taught anything, we were just supposed to read the lengthy online textbook each week, do two labs, and take a test. This is the worst online class I have ever had. I felt like I was completely teaching myself.

Take it online!!!! I did the lab online and spent less than 2 hours a week on this class and got a B. You do a little more work you can get an A. Grades real quick and if you email you get an answer ASAP

Before this class, I had a pretty good interest in weather. After this class, I hated atmospheric science. You will spend an entire wasted class period looking at cloud photos. He is confusing and the material is difficult if you're not a science major. However, I had an A at the end because of the labs, B's on tests/final. Boring and long class.

This guy is crazy but he's awesome. His teaching style is all over the place but it kept me interested the entire time. I would recommend him if you're taking this class.

He is a pretty fun, personal teacher, but he jumps around too much in lectures and he is very unorganized. He tends to go on tangents every class, making lectures difficult to follow, especially during confusing material. He dislikes giving tests so they tend to be easy and they only cover lectures, so no required reading.

I have no real complaints with Dr C. I took this as an online course and my emails were almost always answered immediately and in depth. My complaint is with the course itself. This class really should be at least a 200 level with pre-reqs. I'm an A student, a senior, and will be lucky to pull a B from this course.

Dr Corcoran is a great guy and he knows what he is talking about. Attendance isnt taken but you are in a class of about 20 and if you miss you will miss the info for the day. Not a bunch of work. I would reccomend him

I took this online and i thought the tests were incredibly difficult because they were all about the small details in the text. If there is a confusing question and you get it wrong, it doesn't matter. B is probably best you can get.

labs are easy, as long as you do them completely whether right or wrong he gives you full points, tests are not to hard but he is very boring. He thinks he is funny but he really isn't and talks a lot about stuff then tells you that you don't need to know it. He is unorganized and half the time doesn't seem to know what he is talking about.

super boring, teaches an atmospheric science class in a room with no windows. has no passion for the subject, talks like ben stein but not funny. tests are hard and homework sucked. dont take him you will regret it

I am an honors student and for me as long as I attended class and took notes, the tests were easy. He explained concepts really well and if I did not understand something, he took the time to help me better understand. His class was one of my favorites for my first semester of college.

He sprinkles his lectures with pointless stories that have nothing to do with the material, it gets annoying pretty fast. He shows no real emotion or passion for what he teaches, hes just sort of there.

Likes to talk. STUDY GRAPHS IN BOOK! They are on the tests, you have to recreate them from memory. Do all of the labs...easy points. Way too much information to cover in this class. Be sure to take coffee to stay awake.

Very interactive class. Make sure you know ur graphs for the tests though. If you dont know all of the graphs from your notes & that are in the book then you will miss a good chunk of the test. Willing to meet outside of class, but doesnt budge on grade even if youve shown tons of effort. Be prepared to study a lot & know all information!

He's a nice guy, but this class is boring. There is just too much to absorb. Be sure to study all the diagrams and models he shows you because you will need to be able to reproduce those from memory on his tests. The labs are easy points, so be sure to do them.
