Interactive and innovative lectures but do not help to understand the course material. TAs grade assignments, and grades are arbitrary (timing is awful - due during the reading week and less than a week before the exam). Final exam was a mess with technical glitches and questions that had been explicitly said were not going to be on the exam.

Innovative approach to the course but his lectures are often structured to support his own partisan views and spend far too much time on irrelevant content. Further, he cared little about his students, being quite dismissive of their concerns and assigning a workload that was both heavy and ill-timed (one assignment was due during reading week).

Had him for 2 classes. BY FAR the hardest marker at Queen's, but also one of the best profs. You learn a lot in his class. His marking is unfair as it is below the mandated curve, which is a killer on the transcript. But, must admit that he knows his stuff and is a good rep for Queen's Law.

This is one of the best professors at Queen's university. He really knows his stuff. His lectures are clear and to the point and his notes are exceptional. Exams are fair. Beware those who say otherwise - they probably were looking for an automatic A.
