Prof. Hing is my favorite professor in the ASA dept. His classes are interesting. Tests are straight forward and he really just wants his students to do well. The only drawback is that he has a lot of readings. Great teacher overall!

what a disappointment. the arrogance and condescending attitude were dealbreakers for me. he gives preferential treatment to certain students (i.e. brown-nosing required) and can't stomach anyone disagreeing with him. for someone who's done so much good for the API community, i don't get his freakin problem.NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

if you just want to hear him babble on about his own opinions then this is the class for u. he acts like he's all for diversity but hates on his own people. this class is lame and his teaching skills are sorely lacking.

although hing is a professor with an outstanding background and record i was a bit disappointed with his teaching style. i was expecting to learn a lot more but it ended up being the same old stuff about API community repression and discrimination. I expected to get more into the law aspect of it but I guess it's ok for an ASA class.
