I had such a big hope in this class because I was really interested in marketing but this guy made the class extremely boring. I think he is aware of this so HE WILL WHISTLE OR SCARE YOU in class to make sure you are listening. He will give you tons of small tasks throughout the whole semester and none is easy to earn marks.

Comment:

Took his Marketing Applications course as an elective in my 4th year hoping for an easy A. The course itself isn't very difficult, but all of the assessments are. Dr. Wellington is extremely caring for his students, and is ALWAYS available if you need him. However you WILL have to work for a good great. He makes a hectic schedule, but great prof!

Incredibly dry and boring. If you're anything like me, it's impossible to sit there and pay attention to more than 10 minutes of one of his lectures. I've never fallen asleep in the same class so many times. He also makes you go to class with his participation activities for marks every day. Overall not a good experience.

He's a really nice guy who is very knowledgeable with what he lectures about; however, it can be very boring to listen to. Does in class quizzes totalling 5% of the mark. ADVICE: get the test banks and study them a lot and don't bother going. You'll lose 5% but exams are literally all banks and try to get perfect on them

SO BORING!! I hated going to this class but you have to because he collects in-class participation.. most of your grades are weekly online assignments, midterm, and final + in-class participation. He reads off the slides for an hour and a half.. so so so so so boring. I thought I wanted to concentrate in Marketing but I hate marketing after this.

Decent professor. He loves talking about coke, hoppers optimum cards and wearing a green suit. I only went to class for the 5% participation and never ended up listening. He's really good at responding to emails and being helpful but he's boring. HIs exams are on the harder side but he really helps you with the long answer.

He's not that bad, people make him seem worse than he is. Lots of online quizzes they are pretty easy answers can be found online. Make sure to attend all classes as there are participation marks. Didnt really use the textbook. He is really nice.

If you're into marketing he may be great, but it was a struggle to make it through. He knows his stuff but it's awfully dry... 3 hour night class made everything worse. Mixed feelings about him. Easy midterm/exam though.

He knows his stuff very well and shares his experiences. Bring your book and read as he talks, worked for me very well. Midterm and exam are straight from the textbook. They're MCQ and Short answer (exam has short answer and calculation). He forces attendance which I did not like. Quizzes are not helpful, but they're free marks. I Recommend him.

I honestly thought this prof be good but I was wrong. Wellington lectures are boring and long just talk about pesi vs coke, the green jacket I swear is the only thing he wears. I tried to get help from him but this prof acts like he the king of the world. NEVER AGAIN! Also his office is a complete mess!DO NOT GIVE him your papers! Just email them.

Great prof! very helpful and care about his students. He has a clear guideline of the course so you won't get confused. We had two group projects (written report+presentation for each project), and one final exam. If you work hard, you will get a decent mark. I've never seen a prof like who cares about his student so much.
