At first glance, he may seem to not care about his students, however that isn't the case. He wants his students to do their best, however, pushes you to go extra lengths to reach out and ask for help. He is hilarious, makes class discussions exciting and engaging, and readings memorable through his fun nature. I've thoroughly enjoyed his class.

This professor does not know how to spend his time throughout his workday. I've witnessed him complain over the phone and email for hours over semantics with a vendor and how he thought he was being shorted $2. He then went to said company's social media page and spouted lies about them because he felt shorted. Crazy, unhinged guy.

This was my favorite class to attend this semester. Prof A will have you in stitches and you'll learn so much. He's full of wonderful tidbits of information. He will challenge you, as far as grading and assignments go, but he demands much more quality than quantity of work. Simply wonderful professor--don't miss taking a class with him.

Mainly a discussion based class, be prepared for Prof. Archam to call on you at any time, especially when your in "lala land", happened to me like a hundred times.

Archambeau is the ideal professor! He strikes the absolute perfect balance between comedy routine and lecture. His classes are FUN! He also strikes the perfect balance in terms of class difficulty-- not too easy, not too hard. He is great with freshmen who don't really know what they're doing yet; he's understanding, but doesn't let you slide.

Yeats was an interesting class. Archambeau is a good professor, listens to the students, and is helpful. Worth taking at least one of his classes.

Great professor. He is funny and delivers relevant insight into the literature that is studied. He is a published poet, Home and Variations, and has written several scholarly books including Lauretics and Heretics, about other poets. He is a fair grader and the workload is challenging but not overwhelming.

A good, solid teacher and guy. Knows his stuff/one of the few ppl on staff that actually gets published. Also one of the few grandstanding Prof's that can actually teach (actually tries). Annoys some, but I like him (not boring). Nice mix of lecture and discussion--really quite good, but Arnell and Mallette are better (but they're better than most)

Prof. Archambeau is one of the best teachers i have ever had the privledge of having. At first I was timid to speak up because he is just oozing with knowledge, but he is funny and will be patient with you if you don't quite get the material. I do not speak up in class much, but he is understanding of the strengths of all of his students.

hysterical. absolutely hysterical. and if you pay attention, really quite intelligent. sure he's a bit egotistical at times, but it's all in good fun. and trust me, you'll remember the content with the context he puts it in.

I think he was very funny, but his grading is suspect, not based on work but other factors. He pushed participation but would always call on the same people. I felt like he let his personal feelings get in the way of being fair. When I tried to ask how I could improve he didn't listen and didn't hel

Professor Archambeau is great at lectures and telling students exactly what they should be getting out of the text. Students seem to be divided on his sense of humor. Yet, he knows his subject matter very well.
