Hes a funny dude. He gives life advice and talks about his views on certain things in the world more than he teaches accounting. He will go over hw questions, but his explanations don't make a ton of sense. His tests are straightforward though, so if you read the text and do some practice questions you shouldn't have a real problem

Interesting Professor. Says more of his opinions about the news/economy/government than he teaches accounting. Not really clear when he teaches. Multiple choice exams. Assigned 5 page papers due on Milton Friedman. Collects h/w sometimes.

Horrible teacher. We only got through half of the chapters we were supposed to cover, and this is stuff you'll need to know in the intermediate classes! Most of the class time was him going down the roll and calling on students for answers until someone got it right, and this was a class of 90 kids. You learn more by just reading the text!

This is the worst teacher I have had at Towson. Going to class and doing the homework does nothing to benefit your grade. it is impossible to prepare for the tests. he makes us write economics papers, gives everyone a bad grade, and provides no feedback. he likes to put people on the spotand embarass them. very crude. will make you hate business

I am a parent of a student who took this class. He does not teach, talks about crazy things in class. Tells the students they can go to the deans office know one will do anything because he has been there to long. Tells them that everything they read on here is true. More than half of the class dropped he had 90 students. Don't take this class.

Real funny guy that will teach you accounting and the lessons of life. Take home quizzes and classes are fun. Take him and you will not be disappointed. Made accounting fun.

Lets just say that the final withdrawal date was yesterday, and today, less than half the class is left (there used to be 90). He lectures rather than showing us how to do things. He makes us write papers about ECONOMICS. He is a funny guy, but all he does is discourage you. I do NOT recommend this class.

He's your typical "doesn't give a crap about the student" professor, and he'll admit that. SHOW UP!!!! DO HW!!!! Althought the quizzes are takehome and you get a week to do them, they are still tricky.

This class was my hardest class, but if you actually try you will get through it. You definitely need to study the outlines, and do ALL the homework (even though he hardly collects). He is a funny guy, attendance is required, but you want to go to class...its the only way to get through the tests.

Where to start. A class never lasted more then 30 minutes. Accounting was hardly discussed - usually topics were politics. The quizes are NOT like the homework. Drops lowest quiz grade , final 40%. Attendance and outlines help your grade alot , 15%.

He was not strict on attendance nor did he care much for homework (although I recommend doing both). His quizzes were OK, but he would always put 1 or 2 impossible problems. The bad: cancels classes, lets out early, goes off topic A LOT. Chapter outlines are also required.

Jokes around a lot, confusing class. Hates teaching, always lets you out early and does not really teach. Jokes around about really strange things. Calls on people randomly. His tests are all multiple choice and comprehensive final. Gives out homework but does not collect, also makes you do chapter outlines that he does collect.

SO HARD! It is true, my class was down to less than 15 by the end. I really struggled for a C so unless you're good at this, be prepared to work and study hard! He's a funny guy but a real hard ass with grades.

About 1/3 drop class. 4 quizes and he drops lowest score. My scores so far 64, 88, 92. Class is just going over hw problems. Collects ch outlines for every ch. Very funny. Jokes about drugs and ****eness- only thing that made class fun. If you take the class take advantage of TU's tutoring services. I go to tutoring for 3-4hrs before quizs

There are only a couple of assignments and no tests except the final, which is all multiple choice. Participation and attendance are pretty much the whole grade. Lectures are ok, but you'll have to kinda teach yourself all of it to do well on the final. He offers a lot of rewards though for doing assignments well.

he can be a jerk, if you give him a reason to pick on you he will. he loosens up a little later on though and he's not so bad. do not expect to learn much from the lectures, you have to read a lot in order to pass this class. he's probably one of the best accounting teachers you'll find.
