Go 2 all lectures. Do all HW. Read book. Cram / study the whole weekend before the exam. Get a 40% on the exam. After the curve it's a B. Repeat this cycle for all the exams. It is defeating to study so hard, then take an exam where you get less than 50% of it right. I don't think he's clever for this, I think he's lazy when he writes his exams.

Comment:

One of the best professors I've had here at Rowan. Electronics isn't supposed to be an easy class, but he knows what he's doing. Lectures were very good, and you will learn a lot from this guy. Though, he'll make you work for it. Mostly everyone fails his absurdly hard exams, but he does curve.

Comment:

Professor Krchnavek is probably one of toughest teachers I've ever taken. However, he is a very good teacher and knows his material. His tests can be brutal, make sure to prepare properly. I'd say generally his classes don't assign massive amounts of homework , but definitely need to study the material. He also tends to curve grades thankfully.

EEMags.. one of the hardest classes you'll take at Rowan. Calc III, diffEqs, and physics on steroids. Dr. K does not go easy on you, and you will have to WORK for that grade. However, you will learn a lot. Dr. K really cares and will go out of his way to help you. Godspeed.

His class was the hardest I have taken so far. His tests are extremely difficult but his grading is fair. DO THE HOMEWORK. It is usually only 10 questions but it'll take you days to finish. Do NOT put off studying. While I was taking his class, I hated it because of how much work it was, but looking back, I really learned a lot

He lectures well and Youll feel like youre learning but when you get to the tests, theyre crazy difficult. You will definitely need to put in time for the homework. The labs are easy but don't let that fool you. Theyre only worth 10%. It doesn't matter what you do, he is never pleased and he doesnt care about the student. He's always disappointed.

he does teach well, but an extreme pain too, every assignment is vaguely worded making it a hassle in labs, and making two thirds of the class fail the exams

The lab was pretty much open ended. Get results and then explain the results. In the end it was fun and i learned a lot. If you need to be told what to do, dont take the class. You will learn and you will get a good grade if you figure out how he works. Its easy, just observe and be a good student.

Great teacher. What else can be said about a prof who gets his entire class an overnight pass because he knows they are all working on their power supplies that were put off until the last minute as always. ALWAYS available to help, and one of the most inspiring professors I've ever had. Not that you get much of a choice in picking him :P

hard but helpful... probably the only class you can consider impossible but still walk out with a lot of knowledge.. the class is pretty hard, but he is as helpful as they get. definitely enjoys his job.. take this class if you want to actually learn something and not just walk out with a grade

He makes you work. He taught the hardest classes I took, but you learn a lot if you put the time in, and he has real world experience. He'll spend extra time with you, but he won't hold your hand through the class. You get the grade you deserve based on demonstrated knowledge of the material. No freebies. Effort but poor results=low grade. (STUDY!)

Very, very tough class. Has good lectures, very smart man, and ALWAYS willing to help students outside of class. I advise you do that, because if you don't, you will most likely be lost. Power supply project is very tedious, lots of late nights, but we did learn a lot

Tough teacher, but he forces you to learn. Helps you with any problem, and lets you re-do homework after going over it. Tough, but a cool and fun guy. Even brough us Dunkin Donuts on the last day!

He's the only professor I know that you can go to for extra help time and time again, and he'll help you a lot, but then at the end of the semester, if your grade is still a failing grade, he'll give you an F. It doesn't matter how hard you worked. He doesn't care, and you'll still fail.

Great guy. If you are having problems in his class (and I know I was), just go see him and he'll gladly help you out. Definitely knows his stuff, just needs to improve in teaching it. Tests are a pain though, and the homeworks can get tough. Overall great professor!

He treats clinic like it is the real world and a real job. That is the point of the projects. Forces you to think of solutions, find answers, and make it happen. Great experience.
