Horrbile teacher. Does a horrible job explaining. Gives pop quizzes. Says he will collect the homework, but didn't. 3 Tests. First 2 were similar to the practice he gives out. Final was out of NO WHERE! EXTREMELY HARD! Overall, I don't think he is a good teacher or professional. Grading on essay portion of exam does not make sense! AVOID!!!

MCCABE: GREAT MAN, HORRIBLE TEACHER. BE PREPARED TO TEACH YOURSELF EVERYTHING IN THIS CLASS. HE DOES NOT TEACH, GIVES YOU HOMEWORK AND GOES OVER ANSWER(NOT HOW TO DO IT) IT IN CLASS.IT MIGHT AS WELL BE A ONLINE CLASS. HIS TESTS ARE VERY HARD!AND EXPECTS YOU TO BE A CPA EXPERT WITH OUT HIM TEACHING YOU ANYTHING. AVOID AT ALL COST, TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!

Really nice guy, but can't teach worth beans. Writing is horrid. Alot of times we left class early though. Tests are VERY HARD! Big curve though. I flunked the first one, got a C on the second one, don't know what I got on the final, but still passed with a C in the class.

Guys, stay away from this teacher. Otherwise, you'll regret. His exams are extremely hard. Your GPA will be down because of this class. Once again, his EXAMS ARE VERY HARD AND VERY CHALLENGING. If you don't want to suffer, take another teacher. This teacher can't teach at all.

Avoid!!Will make you want to change your major.Tests are very hard,him & his handwriting are unclear,and makes tons of errors for being a CPA.He grades too hard and teaches w/his back to the students.Boring & very little student involvement. I wouldnt recommend him if you like acct because you will hate it when u r done w/his course. good luck!!

Very nice man. Hard teacher. Grade is based on 2 midterms, 1 comprehensive. He also gives about 10 pop quizzez, 1 1 page paper, and has 1 hw check. Tests are hard. He does curve, but this class is a killer on your GPA. You must devote alot of time to the class in order to get a decent grade.

Nice professor who understands students well. He has a great curve and encourages stud to study hard. Tests are pretty hard, but once you get used to you will like it. One-page paper which does not effect your grade.

Overall nice man, but confusing teacher. TESTS ARE VERY HARD! Do homework and go to class, but that doesn't really prepare you for his tests. He prepares you for the CPA exam, making his class very DIFFICULT. Nice man, poor teaching.

Dr. McCabe like to prepare his students for the CPA exam. It is nice, but its hell on your GPA. You should take the 301 course with only one other Acct course or only two easy courses. Don't underestimate the 300 & 400 level course they are hard.
