Comment:

Mr. Brame is a really sweet man. I took his class not knowing what to expect at all and I'll probably get a B. He gives random quizzes throughout the semester, without warning, and you have 3 tests that are 10 short answer questions. I think his class is really interesting, there's just not much to determine your grade.

Very boring lectures. He repeats himself every single class, so you don't really learn new material. He also doesn't use Blackboard, so a lot of people don't even know what their grade is right now. The only positive is that his tests are open notes, laptop, etc. Even though they're open notes, he's very vague about what he wants for answers.

He was not awful but I did not enjoy his way of teaching. A LOT of studies & research. I thought the class would be interesting but it was very boring & harder than it should be. Open-book, open-note. short answer tests but the ?s were complicated & grading was inconsistent. Information was presented as is & not interesting. 10 page paper, hard.

He has to be the worst teacher possible at USC. I went to every class except for one which was at the same time of the shooting and he gave a quiz. He is not helpful at all and does not know what he wants as answers for his test. I barely made it out his class a live.

Teaches from the book, very 'academic' (bookish) makes your feel intimidated if you don't grasp the material, his attitude doesn't encourage interest in the topic if you take his class as an elective, BEWARE!

he basically just goes over studies. and he posts his notes online, but i recommend going to class. His tests are open note essays. BUT he hates to read them and he prefers if you just write 5or 6 sentencese for you answers.

For a class that is not all that interesting as far as the materials go, Brame did his best to relay the information. I have taken two classes with him and he is an easy teacher. All of his classes seem to be open note, open book tests. So just go to class and quit whining!
