Awful at lecturing. He had a hard time bringing concepts down to students' levels. Many assignment questions were only possible because he have you the entire answer in class. He was willing to schedule extra time, which was great, but the course structure shouldn't require it. Textbook was almost useless.

Great prof! He cares about his students. The material can be difficult at times. There were 6 assignments instead of 12, and they were long - printoffs of 20 pages at times. There's also tutorials which helped for doing the assignments. Overall, great professor, and a very positive learning experience.

The project for this class will be a lot of work, but if you go to class and acutally listen, the assignments and midterms should be no problem. He's quick to give detailed help with anything so if you have a question, ask it. Also when he makes previous midterms available and tells you to look at them, HE REALLY MEANS IT. Make sure you do.
