This course is quite easy, its just all the easy caculation..but the listening part is quite weird...I dont know why we have to identify all those tonal music without put so much attention on analysis them...but its quite fun to go to this class with her...

I found that topics were reiterated in the same fashion, so if I didn't understand the first time, I still didn't understand after a second explaination. Takes a motherly condescending tone if you can't keep up in class.

Finally gave me a taste of something other than harmony/counterpoint. Not until 3rd year were opportunities exposed and alternatives developed. Most students have other interests than the typical theory - this is a great course.

An excellent professor, who stimulated my interest in theory-particularly of the 20th century. She was very concerned with how students were doing and made the material very interesting. She is very clear without "dumbing down" complex materia
