Comment:

Dr. Skeeter is a great teacher! This is my second class with him and I wish I could take another! He is old school, with typed notes that he puts up on the document camera, but he really gets the point across and you really learn a lot. He knows almost anything there is to know about weather. Highly recommend.

Comment:

Professor Skeeter is very clear and makes the subject very interesting. Everything on the tests is covered in lecture, and lab helps reinforce the material. Also some extra credit opportunities are available. Would recommend. Take this class as a gen. ed. because weather is involved in everyday life!

I took this class for a Gen Ed and struggled but he was always willing to help me out. Hoping to pass the class but he was great at trying to help me understand the material. Always available outside of class. Material really isn't that hard, it is just A LOT to know.

Dr. Skeeter was very clear on everything that was going to be on each exam. Only the things learned in lecture were on the test, so I recommend not buying the book. He was always available after class and he made all of the material easy to understand and very interesting. Would recommend him to anyone.

Have had this professor for two classes so far. Very nice and very approachable. Teaching style is old school with a overhead projector but notes are thoroughly explained and he's always available for clarification. May be a bit boring if you're not interested in the weather, but I still recommend him.

Brent Skeeter is the man. although I am a pilot and have prior knowledge with weather, his lectures are crystal clear and the only reason why you would fail an exam is because you either didnt show up to class or you are lazy and didnt pay attention to him. I'm taking him for meteorology also and will get another A

Weather & Climate; Nice guy, Very interested in course. He says it is easier to take in the winter...I did, and I will just say its alot of information very fast, but he cuts it down. Sometimes his lectures don't make sense or he keeps going on and on and you end up wondering whats the point? He's a pretty decent teacher and approachable.

Hes a great teacher goes over everything and tests are 100% from the notes.. labs are free points as well and there is zero reading text books at all and still People have issues with this class and i have no idea why you honestly have to be missing half of a brain to get anything lower then a B Highly recommended

I don't know why so many people stuggled with this class. You don't need to read the text if you go to class every day and buy the packet of figures. Not the easiest class, but not hard either. He stays on topic and explains everything repeatedly. Just write what he says and know diagrams really well. Great prof

Good teacher. Could talk all day about weather. Test are difficult.. must study! Labs are easy, reenforce lectures. Lab quizes are quick and simple. Extra credit weather forcasting, very easy to do! Lectures can get boring. No study guide, must know everything from lecture. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! Don't even use it. Buy his handouts tho.

I thought this class was going to be an easy A, but it definatly was not. He covers a lot of material and you need to study a lot for the tests. The labs are simple but the tests are difficult. He does not give any indication of what will be covered on the tests so you have to know everything. take this class only if you have time to devote to it
