I am confused by all the bad reviews. Mr. Taylor was probably one of my favorite teachers at LSSC. He lightens up the class with jokes and funny personal stories and he is VERY lenient on his grading. I'm sad to hear he is retiring

There is no point to have his class for the lectures because he really does not get specific enough in details of the work required. He easily gets aggravated with the students. Loud. This class is hard. If you are the type that works with interaction, then this is not then best class for you.

I honestly don't get the poor reviews on here. Professor Taylor is one of the best at LSSC. You are expected to atleast participate on occasion. That's for your benefit. Gives tests and homework. Get this, your tests come exactly from your homework or practices he's done in class, so pay att. Knows what he's talking about and he'd be happy to help.

all you have to do to get an 'a' in this class is go to the lecture and pay attention to his examples, and practice with the homework problems. if you can't do that then you have no business being a student. his tests are straight from his examples. he goes over everything he puts on his exam. mr taylor is one of the best teacher here at lssc.

Worst teacher I've ever had. I love math and he made me hate it. He is horrible. He doesn't teach math. He makes you count squares and you better pray you count how many there really are or you fail the test. the lowest test grade is dropped and that's all that matters. I am great at math yet the highest grade I've gotten is an 89. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Mr. Taylor's MGF class was awful. The things that he talked about and taught were in his own words, made up by him. I bought the text book and he even tells you that it's never used. I would NOT recommend this class. His 3 hour night class was a huge mistake, he babbles on and on and does way too many examples for what he is teaching.

Comment:

MTB1370 Hybrid with Taylor was an easy class. Basically, it prepares you for the HESI exam. Taylor is as is CLEAR AS DAY, very fair, and accommodating. Health Careers Math is a VERY easy course. I cannot speak for Mr. Taylor in harder courses. Do your homework before class and do ask questions if you don't understand. Taylor is clear and fair.

Mr. Taylor can get a bit confusing at times because he sort of takes a roundabout approach to certain topics but there is definitely a method to his madness. He's very flexible and helpful. I took his Intermediate Algebra course and although apprehensive at first, I wholeheartedly recommend his course.

I took his class because I heard he was a good teacher. After having him for this class, I would HIGHLY recommend taking your math classes with him. He makes sure to explain everything in a way that students will be able to remember and understand exactly what they are learning. None of the tests are hard if you study. :)

This is my 3rd time taking this class. My first 2 attempts were at a different school and I received a F & D those 2 times. The 3rd time is the charm! Mr.Taylor provided a whole new outlook on this class and math in general. I highly recommend him! I haven't done so well in a math class since middle school. Go to class, do hmwk & your good to go!

A little weird but I like him. You won?t fall asleep in his class, not with his yelling. He gives explains that will be on the test and easy to understand. Do your homework cause he gives extra credit from questions on your homework. It is a fun class. You will learn a lot and not just math.

Mr. Taylor was a very effective Math for Health Related Professions teacher. He tought you shortcuts and reiterated daily what was expected of you on the tests. There are three tests in that class, homework is NOT checked, but if you want an A, do it all. Recommend him highly for Math for Health Related Professions.

I think Mr. Taylor is a great teacher for those who want to learn. This is my second class with him. I hated math, and didnt understand it at all. He is fun, and makes it understandable with notes, but if you dont do the work you WILL fail. He teaches you, you just have to want to learn. And he will tell you that. =)

He is such a hoot! He made it so easy for me. I have taken this class 3 times. The first 2 with Wells, and Sustarsic. He had a different method of teaching that just clicked for me. If you don't do the homework you will fail. This semester he gave us a chance for extra credit. He is easy going and understands not everyone gets it the first time! A+

Such a good professor! I am TERRIBLE in math and have always struggled with it, but he made it so easy to understand! I'm finished with all my math classes now, but I would consider taking another one if it was with him. Honestly my favorite class that semester. He was awkwardly funny, but definitely kept the class entertained. Didn't use the book.
