Comment:

Copp is a great prof!! He has a dry sense of humor that makes the class fun. His expectations were easy; come to class, read the material (its not much) and you'll do great. If you take notes on what he says, you'll be golden. He's very helpful; he makes himself available when needed and is an overall genuine and caring guy. I'd take him again.

He's a nice enough guy but when it comes to environmental matters, the lectures become a bit preachy. He does know what he's talking about but his job is to educate students; not preach to them about wastefullness or over-consumption. I'm not "a veggie-burger person" OR "a pretty lawn person"...and I resent the reference.

Yes, sometimes boring. This guy is very intelligent, 101 was pretty easy, but was a bit vague on some of the testing. If you need help, he gladly gives it.

Take Hector-Faley if you can-she's much more patient, much more clear, and generally a better lecturer. I dropped Copp's class after a week and switched to Hector-Faley, and got a much better grade (presumably) because of it.

I took Dr. Copp for Social Psychology and Sociology of Family. I found him to be one of the most helpful and sincere professors I had at RF. His lectures can be a bit dry, but he wants his students to succeed and is a great guy.
