I found him very helpful and approachable. There was a particular quiz that was tougher than the others, but since you use the concepts a lot, you get a lot of practice with the material. It helps to look at the quizzes and assignments from previous years for practice.

Literally the worst prof in the department besides Dr. Eic. Drones on about nothing you will ever commit to memory most of the time instead of doing examples. Will ask you anything and everything on any test/final. Should patent "Beyond the scope of this course". I feel bad for future ChE students.

This is by far one of the worst professors I've had. He rambles on, mumbles about his research, wastes class time and the online lectures are awful. I have to play them on 1.5x speed just so I don't pull my hair out from his agonizing rants on material that is "beyond the scope of the course". Wish I had a dime for every time he said that.

Terrible prof, very unorganized and unclear. Never replies back to emails and has much difficulty explaining whyyou goy the grade you did. Stay clear of him, it will only cause you a headach and a bad grade.

Has to be the most boring online course ever. The guy shows no examples and takes forever to mark anything. Teaching style is freakishly boring and I would rather listen to the sound you'd hear when falling down a tall flight of stairs, cracking bones all the way down. The guy blurts out more nonsense than actual sense.Avoid if possible.

Brian Lowry is by far one of my favorite professors. I don't know why he would ever have a negative comment, but some people have nothing better to do apparently.

His assignment can be long and convoluted, but they are simple. It helps that he posts previous assignment solutions online for reviewing.

His exams are long, but fair.

Compared to the other CHE profs I had this year, Lowry is golden. I found he explained the material extremely well. His assignments can be long and difficult however he does put previous years solutions up on blackboard which are often almost identical. Misterms were fair.

A really smart guy, though can be confusing. Very approachable after class. He will even check your answers for assignments before you pass them in. Quizzes are identical to the ones from last year, and he posts them online. He makes it an easy course.

It's kindda hard to rate him from this class. There wanst really anything to teach. Although when he handed stuff out, it seemed like he didnt even know wut was going on. He came across to be a nice guy, although sumtimes he did come off as arrogant. He's a pretty laid back guy. Let us out early on Friday's too.
