Dr. Russell is arguably the smartest professor in the department. She really knows what she's talking about and you'll notice that after the first lecture. Try not to be intimidated by this, just make an effort to talk to her & ask questions! She's always in a hurry after class though, so going to her office hours is the better option.

Dr. Russel is a really awesome professor! She's really funny and really tries to get the information across to the students well. The material she teaches is tough, so expect to study a lot. There are review sessions, however, held by the GA and that really helps! You will DEFINITELY want to go to those!

I think shes a nice person but you can never find her outside of class and she rushes you away. i only passed because of the ta's help. she dosnt word lessons in plain english(very text book sounding) and her tests are even harder. But she is very smart and i think she does best in research and not as a teacher
