Great professor. Very helpful, cheerful, and open. Comments from other students defaming Barnett are idiotic. To be sure she has high standards; however, she is reasonable and clear about her expectations. Very approachable before and after class, as well as by appointment. Take her.

She is a fabulous mentor on films. She worked with our group over and over to make our film better. Most people don't like her because the course is required and they don't want to be there. I learned a lot and discovered an area of film that I really liked but had never done before.

She's one of those professors that makes you want out of the major. If I hadn't needed this class to graduate, I would have been gone after a week. She's unrealistic and a control freak. If you ask her for help she'll love you, but if you want to try to work on your own terms she'll trash your every effort. Then she'll enjoy trying to fail you.

Brooke is about as helpful as cancer. Her directions make no sense and will cause you to worry about whether or not you you're doing the right thing.
