Hates his students so much he published a poem on how horrible it is to teach them. Why are english students so bad? Because the other milktoast profs pass them when they shouldn't. One even told me that the profs are told to pass mediocre students in order to beef up the Interdisciplinary Masters program.

The class was Victorian Literature, which Wyse turned into a class solely about Victorian poetry. I took this class via teleconference in Quesnel, and Wyse was most unhelpful towards distance students. The thrust of Wyse's teaching was baffling students with obscure,archaic words. pulled

His lectures are painful. He falls behind because he is so obsessed with reading his own papers to the class. The grade you get on the first assignment is the grade you get for life - he stops reading your work after that.
