An interesting course, but not the easiest course around. He is a good prof, explains things well, and takes time to make sure people understand. Exams are challenging, they require you to design complex experiments to problems presented to you. If you pay attention to detail you can do well on the lab reports.

AMAZING prof. He is very clear and teaches interesting topics. This course was required, but anyone that enjoys psychology, or evolutionary biology would really enjoy it. He has scheduled office hours, but is flexible with other times too. Only drawback is the written questions involve creative thinking: designing of experiments.

I took both 336 & 436 with Dr. Neff. The nature of the subject matter makes his courses really fun/interesting. The labs in both courses are a lot of work, but are worthwhile. He is a great lecturer & is very willing to answer questions if you need help.

Took this course b/c it fit in, but ended up being one of my favourite courses in university. Actually got on the waiting list for 436 because of it. He's fantastic, explains things well, and is incredibly helpful. Overall just a great guy. And reminds me of Christopher Reed, pre accident.
