Just show up on time to everything and you'll pass. There's lots of extra credit opportunities to make up for missed credit if you miss practice or are late. The music isn't hard. Really fun. Plus you get a stipend at the end of the year.

Have to stay committed to marching band. It's very fun and definitely worth the experience. Just show to practices and be ready to work. Coach is very relaxed, and definitely the marching band is not what you think as in high school, it's chill.

I loved high school marching band and competitions, but the MA's are so relaxed when it comes to rehearsals and performances that it was hard for me to appreciate at first. It was good as a freshman because it got me involved. Its fun playing at the games and going to G's Pizza after. Coach is chill, but you gotta be serious about your marching.

Coach is really relaxed. If you like being in Marching Band then definitely join. :D We have tons of fun and really get into the music. Only problem is that it doesn't necessarily have the same feel as High School Competitions though as we don't compete only entertain. Fun Tunes and visuals though!

Nice guy, but lets in anyone so the bad got out of hand this year. No priority reg. anymore and you only get 250 instead of 300 dollars. I think the band will be much smaller this year because there was a lot mean people and negativity in the band.

Mr.Ransom had developed into an excellent director and leader over the past few years.However,I think he should be a little more selective in the people he lets in(keeps)in the band.The music is always fun to play but it would be nice to get some new quality charts instead of the pop tunes arranged by undergrads.

Don't listen to the green-faced rating. Everyone does this for fun. It would be nice to be a better band, but it's not hard core like that. Ransom is awesome, and everyone tries to have fun. Plus, Chargers games and $300 are great incentives! :)
