Comment:

1013 and 1023 are literally a waste of time. The problems are oversimplified to the point that you learn nothing by solving them. The courses are not hard, but you have to learn everything on your own if you want to get really good marks because he doesn't teach anything.

Mr. Walton is a marvelous professor. He is an expert on statics and dynamics, and is also quite personable and easy going. Not an easy A, but he relates arduous material to real world applications giving the student perspective on the topic.

Probably the best professor I will have. Has no tolerance for people who don't show up. His notes are really good and he knows them inside out and backwards. Ask him anything about civil engineering and he will know it. GO SEE HIM, he will help you out with anything. He seems scary in class but he is a very nice and intelligent man.

Awesome prof, really knows his stuff! This course was very fast paced, so make sure to keep up, because it is super easy to fall behind due to the huge amount of information you learn in it. He could go a bit too fast sometimes in class, but that was just due to the amount of content to cover in the semester. At office he can clear anything up.

The Walton has mad skills...'incredibly complicated physics made easy' should be the title of his autobiography..i know people who idolize him(S.W.)...his classes are not for clowns - don't pull any stupid questions or fail to pay attention - he'll wreck ya..only complaint is his view that only civils are REAL engineers.. that's just false..
