If you need help, just ask. He's a nice guy. We never used the book, just used wikiversity's IC3 for our course material. If you just look online and take notes of the key terms, you'll pass easily. He just scratched the surface of what we learned in class. We were able to use notes on the tests, which were the only things we were graded on.

By far the worst professor I have ever taken. This class may as well be called "Professor Redmonds comedy hour" because you will spend 80% of class listening to him talk about personal anecdotes and making jokes. 0 concise notes, he simply gives cryptic examples on the board with very little explanation to what he's doing. Amazing that he has a job

Professor Redmond never replies to your emails:concerns. Never updated the grade book on blackboard the entire semester and the syllabus online did not match the program in which assignments were due to be submitted on. Needs to clarify what his expectations are in syllabus and update grade book to ensure correct assignments are being completed

An absolute elite doesn't help anyone doesn't teach anything at all you have to teach your self online and he doesn't give partial credits it's either a 4 on the assignment if the program works or a 0 if it doesn't He is not even in the class he write the assignment on the board and just disappear for the end of the session Choose another one.

Professor is a down to earth guy, very approachable and willing to help. He tells you up front that you have to work to fail his class and I can see why..going back to school after 30-yrs. He helped me whenever I ask and never shows that you were being a bore to him. He made learning fun & I am looking forward to other computer classes he teaches.

This guy rocks, CIS 120 is the easiest class that i've ever taken. i don't even have to go and i can get a 100%!! he even says that if you don't get a A+ that you need to talk to him because you don't understand how easy his class is.

I was excited before class started! I now feel, I'm basically teaching myself. It was nice in the beginnig being able to leave early, A few of us, now, try to stay working, but are "kicked out before class is even over with nothing but our next new assignment. Where's the Instructional part of the class? Instructors nice, but I paid for More!

I do not find this instructor very informative. He is not even using the material he is teaching us to instruct with, such as power point demonstrations. Class has been in session for six weeks, some of us have yet to receive assignments back to judge our progress. Makes it tough to see if you are doing things correctly. It is very frustrating.

It was easy except for access. he gives you the assignment and then you can leave. But I kind of felt like it might as well have been a online course because I just came in for the assignment and then left or type out the notes and then left. I think if one needed the help he would have probably helped. I never saw the students ask for help either.
