I loved taking Dr. Leon's classes! She is a hoot and has done some pretty amazing things in her life.... and she was born in Paris, need I say more? As for the class, as long as you show up to class and have a positive attitude, you will do fine. Wonderful class and wonderful professor, I highly recommend Dr. Leon.

Dr. Leon is superb, she is fair and always lends a helping hand to those that ask. I had the pleasure of taking 4 of her courses and was her "petit esclave" (TA). Honestly, the most intelligent, insightful person I've met. The mark she left on me was nothing but the finest kindling for "lux mea," otherwise dimmed by the oppressive GCC experience.

Dr. Leon is the most hilarious person I've ever met and very, very knowledgeable. She may offend the Grover types, but that's usually a good thing. Her class is a fair amount of work and a whole lot of fun.

Extremely intelligent, author of several books and articles. Is more interested in teaching the "language" than in teaching the text book. She would be a fairly difficult prof to follow if you've not taken any French before. Very much enjoy her classes, though she doesn't really suffer fools gladly...

Leon is a helpful teacher for those truly interested in the French language. If you are not, you may be put off by her frequent ramblings about minute details. All in all, not a typical GCC prof. You'll be fine if you go in with an open mind and try to understand her personality.

I had Dr. Leon for many French classes and I really enjoyed all of her classes. She is not the typical "Grove City" professor which was quite refreshing. She is amazingly intelligent and really tries to be fair. Don't be afraid to go to office hours or ask for help!

Terrible. I can barely call her a teacher. She just rambles on and on for 50 minutes about nothing. Doesnt teach any basics of the french language, just jumps to random points. DO NOT TAKE. Find someone else.

Dr. Leon was the best professor I've ever had, between GCC and two graduate schools. She encourages students to think beyond the righteous, pseudo-Christian, intolerant propoganda imposed on students by so many other professors on campus. I LOVE her!!!
