I have to laugh. I read so many of the complaints posted about this professor. People complaining the lectures were too hard, labs were too difficult and no study guide was provided. Get real! This is college not high school. Considering how poorly some of these criticisms were written I'd like to know how they got into college in the first place!

This class was way to difficult to be a 100 level class. He gives a ton of information and no study guide. He also expects you to copy notes word for word while getting everything that he adds while lecturing. Not to mention the class is extremely boring.

I took this class to fulfill my gen ed science requirements, and I thought it wouldn't be too difficult since it's supposed to be for non-science majors. Even though I studied and read the book, I still didn't do well in the class. Dr. Thomas teaches the class like an upper level class instead of the introductory class it is.

Sucks. Very hard teacher. His teaching style sucks. He does not give you any good notes and the tests are rediculously hard because he doesnt give you a study guide. The labs suck also. I am a good student but this class was crucially hard. Dont take him.

Thomas is a complete d**k. Don't take him unless you absolutely have to. Tests are hard unless you know everything in your notes and book to a T and doesn't take into consideration if you're trying or not. He teaches this 100-level class like it's a 300-level.

I don't even know if they have this class anymore but it was really tough. Dr. Thomas is no pushover and, especially in this class, the lectures seemed enormous, the notes were backbreaking, and the tests were killer.

DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU DON'T REALLY HAVE TO!!! He is an intelligent teacher or knows his stuff. It is not his teaching that is the problem but he is so Colloquial in his expectations from students.Tests are HARD and will not mind failing an entire class.DO NOT RECOMMEND the probability of failure is high even if an A student.

His class is unusually hard for a 101 class! Avoid geography and take Biology or something. Thomas expects you to know all the small details. Never thought I would get below a B on a 101 class, I was wrong. Avoid Thomas and your GPA will stay high. Labs are monotonous and boring except for the 1 or 2 that are more hands on.

Dr. Thomas is one of the best professors I've had. He was very supportive when I asked for help. The class is not an easy subject and requires to read a lot. Did the other students prepare for class? Overall, I give him an A+ for his teaching.

Don't take him unless you have to. He is really hard and his tests are impossible to do good on. If you ask him for help he won't really help you. I have never gotten a C in college before and I got my first C from him.

Not that helpful. Read the book. Tests are a KILLER!!! He does not let you know what might be on the exam. Thinks that there are too many people on the dean's list. I would not take this class. Half of my class dropped.

I hated this class..I had to drop it because it was so bad. He's SO unclear with his lectures and is not very helpful..Unless you HAVE to take this class, avoid it at all costs!
