Great professor!You actually learn in this class ! Plus, she is very approachable. It's chemistry so you will have to put an effort in this class and work.Tests are easy just pay attention to her notes plus SI works.

EXCELLENT TEACHER! Not an easy class, she will make you work for that A. She really cares about her students and is always willing to help them out. She has a good sense of humor and it helps keep the class interesting. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!! One of the best teachers I've ever had.

VERY HARD TESTS. Asks for a lot of work in just one hour. The class averages were always around the 40's. This is very tough..the grading is normal not like in the other chem classes. Great proff..she knows how to explain her stuff..but her tests are really hard. Beware.

Dr. Coyle is pretty cool, her teaching style is to work the follow up problems after explaining somthing, which i liked. She is very willing to help during her ofice hours. Her exams however, are fairly difficult, the class average was 35 for the last test, but i think she is probably the best here.

Nice teacher and somewhat entertaining. Exams are too tedious for the time allotted. The slightest error (if you leave out a simple step that SHOULD be understood) is MAJOR points deducted. You'll feel confident that you've practiced, had perfect attendance, paid attention, and studied the theory, and yet you'll get your exam back and go WTF!?

Very cheerful w/ a good sense of humor. Solves problems on the board (can sometimes be hard to see since it's a chalkboard), but is often corrected by students. Powerpoints only illustrate the topics discussed. Her study guides are pretty vague. Tip: Don't miss class.

shes not the easiest prof, but as long as you study the material, pay attention in class, and put some effort in to your work you will be fine. shes funni and i feel like she cares so much about her students. very nice and helpful!!!

Study 90% of what will not be on test. Mostly concepts instead of problems. Very hard to get aholf of and will dodge you if you need help. Take Dr. Powell- much easier and you can get his old test.

Class is fun. Moves quickly but very intent on helping U understand. She's busy b/c she's involved but always available to help students in distress. Subjectmatter naturally difficult but she makes it doable.

Her tests are VERY difficult! She crams a lot of information on a 50 minute exam (you have to rush through- no room for errors or time to review answers). The class avg was a 58 (which she curved to be a C)! She will always help you though if you ask.
