She genuinely cares about all of her students. Integrates personal experiences into teaching which makes her very relatable. Very clear when it comes to grading and as long as you care about your grade, so does she. Very easy access, responds to emails very fluently no matter what the topic. Willing to work with you when it comes to deadlines.

She's a real gem. Great educator and very caring. Very helpful outside of class. She wants her students to succeed. If you get this teacher you will be blessed. Not only is her class easy but you will also learn a lot of valuable information. If you're not a social work major, still take this class because you will relate info to other classes.

SHE IS AWESOME. actually cares about the work load she gives her stdents- she will work with you and ask your opinion on when certain assignments are due. Also gives several easy opportunities for extra credit. Notes are straight forward and easy to understand- tests are VERY fair and appear exactly as the notes she gives do. very urstanding lady

Worst teacher there is. Every class was like puling teeth. She is so easy but the class is terrible. TO give you an idea of her personality, she teachers another class called "Death and Dying" She does not truly care about getting you better grades. . We had at least 3 pointless projects that were not learning experiences.

Professor Sofka is a genuinely nice person. She gives you written assignments with plenty of time to do them and she gives you the rubric so you know exactly what to do. She gives you the powerpoints of the notes and study guides for the two tests..take her if you can!
