Be prepared. She says that she wants the class to be discussion oriented but then she will spend the entire class talking about herself. And when she spends the entire class talking, she still marks you down as not participating. If you take her honors class, make sure to write essays about how the topic makes you feel, not how important it is.

Carol is one of the coolest teachers at fvcc- the class is interesting, but if you want an A in the class, you need to study hard for the tests. She gives you a study guide for the test, but the study guide covers everything that is in the chapter, and i mean EVERYTHING, so it's not much help. Great teacher, but probably more work than most want!
